I live in Chattanooga, TN with my husband, Rob, our sweet beagle Sophie, and our spunky cat Glow. Rob and I attend a small Presbyterian (PCA) church plant in town.

I love to travel, and the mountains are my favorite place to be. I have a weakness for anything cozy -- tea, blankets, and candles. The Danish concept of Hygge (hue-gah) sums up my general mood: Enjoying a cozy atmosphere in the home or out, alone or with loved ones.

As much as I love comfort, the LORD has walked me through tremendous discomfort to bring me closer to Him. Through His grace, God saved me in 2008 from a life of emptiness and rebellion. He has been cultivating me into His likeness, and will continue to do so until I see Him face to face. Being transformed into His likeness has been the greatest pleasure of my life, but it has come through brokenness. The LORD has held my hand through loss, chronic pain, infertility/miscarriage, and feeling a lack of purpose.

In the depths of confusion and pain, God has tenderly touched those places so that I could have more of Him. He has used a variety of situations in my life to savor the deep joy of His presence. It is my desire to help others to experience the joy of the Lord.

The Father of compassion and comfort has comforted me during my walk so that I may comfort others in theirs (2 Cor.1:3).

The Lord has entrusted all of us a story, and I believe God has brought me from desperate places so I can empathize with others. I began discipling young women in 2011, and from there the Lord paved the way for me to pursue an educational background in counseling and theological studies. When I discovered the concept of life coaching with spiritual formation, I knew that this is how I want to walk alongside women. My prayer is that from my experiences I am a vessel for God's voice.
